Christine DiSalvo joined Maryland Financial Investors in November of 2008. As Compliance Director, Christine is involved in many aspects of the daily operations of the company. She is involved during the various stages of lease negotiations in an oversight capacity, and she reviews all completed leases and amendments to ensure accuracy. She is involved in acquisitions, financings, property development and rezoning requests. She is responsible for the documentation of procedures and helps to streamline the various processes followed throughout the company. She draws on her extensive experience with the interpretation of lease documents, financing instruments, and property records to ensure the company’s compliance with requirements and regulations.
Prior to working for MFI, Christine worked as a paralegal in the real estate law department of Gallagher Evelius & Jones LLP, a mid-sized Baltimore law firm. She worked on the development and financing of condominium and mixed use projects throughout Maryland and Virginia. She has worked on many prominent developments throughout the area, including several of the buildings located at Harbor East in downtown Baltimore.
Christine graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Political Science. Christine is also a licensed real estate salesperson in Maryland.
